'Night School' Movie Review | 2018 Film | A Concoction of Humour and Creativity.

Recipient of two teen choice Award nominations is one of the most loved and most popular comedy movies in history, Night school. Known for its comic actors, adventure-packed scenes, and a great storyline. Night school gives us a taste of American comedy at its best and continues to entertain whole new generations of fans.

Released in 2018, it instantaneously assembled a cult following of dedicated fans and critics, establishing itself as one of the best new comedy movies of the year.

Night school was directed by popular and award-winning movie director Malcolm D. Lee who has got a bundle of movies, series, and TV shows all to his credit. Written by Kevin Hart, Harry Ratchford, and a host of other screenwriters. With so many great people behind the camera, you are sure to guess that this movie stars lots of great actors who have done blockbuster shows years prior.

Night school was produced by HartBeat Productions and distributed by Universal Pictures. It starred Kevin Hart, Tiffany Haddish, Rob Riggle, Romany Malco, Taran Killam, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Al Madrigal, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Keith David, Anne Winters, Fat Joe, Ben Schwartz, Yvonne Orji, and Bresha Webb. Hart also produces the film in conjunction with Will Packer, as well as co-authored the script.

The story follows a group of adults who set out to earn their GEDs.

In the summer of 2001, high school student Teddy Walker (played by Kevin Hart) drops out of school when he finds himself unable to concentrate during a crucial state achievement test.

Years later, in 2018, everything seems to turn out good for him — as he was pictured riding in a fly car, despite the fact that he dropped out of high school. He then finds good employment as a barbecue grill salesman while dating a wealthy woman named Lisa(played by Nigerian American actress Megalyn Echikunwoke), having developed a careful financial strategy that allows him to maintain the illusion that he is better off than he actually is. However, his life falls apart just as he learns that he is going to inherit control of the store when the current manager retires; Teddy gets involved in a fire accident that took down the whole barbecue grill store, due to celebrations just after he proposed to Lisa. Hopefully, the store manager had insurance and relocated to Florida.

Now jobless, Teddy learns from his best friend Marvin (played Ben Schwartz) by that he could theoretically get a job at Marvin’s financial investment firm, but it requires him to have a GED. Teddy goes to his old high school in the belief that he can just charm the new principal into giving him the appropriate qualification, but this plan got ruined from the start with the discovery that the principal is Stewart, whom Teddy bullied when he was at school.

Night school covers a wide range of beautiful sceneries and a glimpse of the city of Atlanta Georgia — as it was filmed here. From comic characters and upbeat soundtracks, it adds its own unique brand of humour and an original blend of creativity that fans of the genre will definitely appreciate.
